The Pro's:
The new jig from Berkley comes with an extra skirt and two chunk trailers. The one I chose was the one shown above and came with two crawdad trailers. This is a heavy jig built to withstand the most severe punishments. The action is top notch along rocky/gravel bottoms, the crawdad chunk trailer seems to come "alive" along rough bottoms. Small mouth bass beware this lure is deadly.
The Con's:
As with any jig it picks up allot of algae, while to does a good job in breaking through rough patches it does pick up a lot of slime algae when not used properly. The price tag on one jig is a whopping six bucks.
Is it a good buy?
So far so good, I haven't had a lot of "go" time with this jig just yet but it seems to be producing more fish than any other jig I have fished with....then again maybe I'm just getting lucky :P
