Kelly's Fire Tail

The Pro's:
This is an all around good worm for bass and pan fish especially for the young anglers. The end hook gets picky bass that are just trying to scare this soft fishing lure out of there nest while at the same time will hook up smaller pan fish. As a bass fishing lure this plastic bait has a unique curve to it and has an excellent presentation when sinking and swimming through the water. The hooks are Mustad and are threaded thought the worm with 17lb test. They are also anise scented
The Con's:
For me this lure is a last resort lure for when I cant get anything to bite. It works well in small bass ponds but its light weight does not fare well in big lakes or windy conditions. While the end hook is good some of the time, bigger bass tend to swallow it. This is also a very light weight worm that does not cast very far.
Is it a good Buy?
This plastic bait is great for young anglers because it enables them to catch fish with ease. I like to keep a few on hand in case my fishing trip gets really slow. I believe it is a good buy
