The Pro's:
Rapala is at it again, The new and improved Dt series looks like it may be a hit. Dt meaning "dive too", these lures come with different diving depths. I tested out the Dt3 with reasonable success. The above Rapala DT is shown in Crawdad color and comes in handy in shallower lakes. This series of Rapala diving lures can dive up to sixteen feet of water. It is extremely sturdy and can take a beating. The Rapala Dts make excellent lake Lures.
The Con's:
As with any Rapala Lure, It is expensive. You need to look at each lure to determine its diving depth before buying. You don't want a Dt7 if your fishing a lake that is only three to four feet deep or vise versa.
Is it a good Buy?
While this lure does have some functionality for beginner fisherman, I prefer to use regular diving lures and finesse them when they hit the bottom of the lake. I will not buy these again.
